This course in Slinger/Signaller is designed for experienced Telescopic Handler operators to gain recognition by way of certification and to comply with The 2006 Construction Regulations.

Course Content

• Course Introduction Daily inspections of lifting gear.
• Safe lifting operations around site. Safe slinging and signaller procedures.
• Certification and testing of machine & attachments. Site conditions and associated hazards.
• Slinging and signalling / Corrective training Control of Lifting equipment.
• The correct storage for the lifting gear.

Requirements

• Valid Solas Safe Pass Card
• I.D (Passport or Driving Licence.)
• PPS Number
• Completed Candidate Pack
• 1 x Passport Photo
• Candidate must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E)
• Applicants must be eighteen (18) years of age or over

Certification: On successful completion of the Slinger Signaller Assessment candidates will be issued with a Solas CSCS card and a QQI certificate.
